It is the middle of August and the yachting season would usually last for three more months. However, countries like France and the UK started to introduce self- quarantine again because of the high jump of COVID-19 cases. In addition, fall is around the corner and governments are worried about how will they keep people safe if everyone is going to be in closed spaces.
Everyone in their right mind knows that we could expect strict measures in a month or so. Therefore, even the yachting season is in danger. Why?
Countries may close their borders again; Dock’s and Marines could be closed too. The more important thing, nobody wants to be in self-isolation for two weeks if they do not really have to. It could also be harder to get a permit to enter some countries with a yacht. Many questions arise.
