When we take an objective look at where passengers spend the most time, it is indoors — while they sleep, relax, dine, etc. Therefore, it is crucial for an air duct to be clean and fresh. Since a yacht is a very fertile ground for all kinds of bacteria, viruses, and fungus because of its wet environment, you do not want to breathe that contaminated air while you are enjoying your vacation. Cleaning your air duct in a timely manner prolongs its life span and saves you money.
01
Cabin & Saloon Air Ventilation cleaning
Your cabin and saloon are two places on your yacht where you should be able to relax and have some rest. Since you spend approximately one-third of your day in your cabin sleeping, you do not want to breathe in bacteria. Those bacteria lead to all types of allergies and respiratory issues which you certainly do not want to experience while enjoying your vacation. Let us help you relax properly by cleaning your saloon and cabin duct.
02
Yacht kitchen hood cleaning
One of the biggest causes of fires on yachts is the contaminated kitchen hood. Your kitchen hood collects all grease from cooking and by not cleaning it timely, you are putting you and every other passenger at risk because with time all that grease becomes highly flammable and dangerous. Also, all grease accumulated in the hood, pipes, and on the fan, if not cleaned regularly, will start dripping into the food you are preparing.
03
Yacht laundry duct cleaning
Besides the kitchen hood, the laundry duct is another possible cause of yacht fire. When you wash your clothes, lint goes into your laundry duct and it becomes flammable because it overheats with time. If you notice that your laundry machine is not performing as it used to or that your clothes are not drying as fast as before, it is time for laundry duct cleaning. You should clean or at least inspect your laundry duct at least once per year for your own safety.
04
Yacht bathroom and hot tub duct cleaning
Bathrooms are a very fertile environment for mold and fungus because they are wet most of the time. By using your bathroom fan, your vent collects all steam and it causes mold and fungus to pile up. Warning signs your bathroom vent needs cleaning: mirrors stay steamy longer, the fan does not remove odors, and visible dust on your exhaust cover. If you own a hot tub, you must clean its filters timely — they collect debris and grime.
05
Engine room (machinery) air duct cleaning
The engine room and the propulsion part of the yacht have special ventilation systems — both for everyday use and special systems that react in case of fire, smoke, and other specific situations. These systems are partly automated (various fire dampers) and require expert cleaning and inspection.
